The Heathrow Travelodge Terminal 5 offers an affordable and easily accessible accommodation option for Terminal 5 customers.
The hotel is located just half a mile from the terminal. A Hoppa bus service (Hoppa number H57) runs between the hotel and Terminal 5 at a cost of £4 each way between 9am and 11pm every day. Taxi services are available at preferential rates for hotel customers. Station Langley Cars (01753 545000) provide six-seater taxis between the hotel and terminal 5 for £11 each way.
Britannia parking operate the hotel’s car park, and charge £5 for up to 24 hours parking. There are 154 spaces in the car park.
Wifi is available in the hotel, payable for in advance by credit or debit card, at a cost of £5 for an hour or £10 for 24 hours. Late or early check outs can be arranged at a cost of £10.
The hotel has a bar-cafe serving a wide range of food and drinks. An eat-as-much-as-you-like breakfast buffet is available at a cost of £7.50 for adults, free for children (up to two children per adult). This includes both a hot breakfast – with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and beans all on the menu – and a selection of cold items, including croissants, muffins, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Later in the day, a selection of snacks and evening meals are available. These include lots of pub-style favourites such as burgers, curries and pizzas, as well as a delicious desert selection. Some meals are available to collect and eat in your room. If you just want a drink, then that’s fine too – there’s a good range of alcoholic drinks, which you can enjoy in the bar or in the comfort of your room.
The hotel has two room types. Double rooms have a double bed, television, tea and coffee making facilities and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The family rooms are similar, but also have a sofa bed which sleeps one adult or two children. Towels and bedding are provided, but toiletries are not, so pack a wash-bag (although you can buy toiletries from vending machines around the hotel if needs be).
